Ace's Parks Commits To Mansfield
To cap off a great 2024, Troy High School's athletic wing Alyssa Parks committed to Mansfield University Women's Basketball to continue her athletic and academic career.
"I am excited to officially announce my commitment to Mansfield University... to play basketball and further my academics."
Parks helped the Select Prospect Aces win 13 of their last 15 games of the 2024 summer, including going 4-2 at the HoopGroup Championships in Atlantic City, New Jersey at the end of July.
Parks used an Instagram post to say "I would like to thank my parents for supporting me in everything I do. I would not be where I am right now without them. I would also like to thank all my coaches I have had over the years!"
Parks will be adding some local flavor to the Mansfield roster, growing up just minutes from campus.
"I would also like to thank all of my teammates. You all have been a part of this as well... and pushing me to become the person I am now."
Parks will also be competing for Mansfield's Cross Country and Track & Field teams.
